A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her mother’s lover recently in Vyalikaval. The duo nowhere to be found after the girl became pregnant.
They were gone into hiding in Tamil Nadu and the police are looking out for them.
According to police, Namitha, a resident of 2nd Cross, Maruthinagar, Vyalikaval, separated with her husband two years ago. Her husband, a labourer, stays with their son in Vyalikaval.
She then began to have a relationship with Shankar. During his visits to her house, he intimidated Namitha’s daughter, who was studying in class VIII in a private school, and sexually assaulted her, which leads to her pregnncy.
