Hyderabad, March 17: A 13-year-old girl, working as a housemaid at a doctor couple’s residence, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in their car in Karkhana locality here today, police said.
The girl used to work as a domestic helper at the residence of Prabhakar Reddy and his wife Shoba, who run a private clinic in Rein Bazar, they said.
The girl went to their residence in the morning, but when she did not return home, her parents grew suspicious, police said, adding that her body was later found by her relatives in a car belonging to the doctor couple.
“The girl’s body was lying on the car’s rear-seat. A case has been registered. An autopsy would be conducted on the girl’s body tomorrow which will determine the cause of the death,” a senior police officer told.
Meanwhile, tension prevailed in the area following the incident.
