In a shocking incident, a minor girl in Fatehpur was set on fire by four people for allegedly plucking mangoes from an orchard in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district.
“The father of the girl has complained that the incident took place on Saturday when the girl was alone in the house,” Anees Ahmed Ansari, SP, Fatehpur was quoted by ANI.
The victim’s father has claimed that the the four accused had plucked mangoes from his orchard, and he had raised objection over it.
“They thrashed my daughter and set her on fire to take revenge,” he was quoted by ANI.
A case has been registered under IPC Section 302 and 452 and investigation is underway.
