New Delhi: A two-year-old girl was killed and her parents and an auto-rickshaw driver were injured on Sunday when the three-wheeler they were travelling in collided with a bus in south Delhi.
Kuldeep Singh of Dakshinpuri area and his wife along with two minor daughters Poorvi, 2, and Upeksha, 5, were travelling in the auto-rickshaw towards the Anand Vihar bus terminus when it rammed into the bus at a traffic light point in Sheikh Sarai at around 6 a.m., Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said.
Kuldeep, his wife, Poorvi, and auto-rickshaw driver Kishan were injured and taken to Max hospital in Saket, where Poorvi died. Kishan was shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre for treatment.
“We have registered a case against Kishan on the statement of Kuldeep. He will be arrested after he is discharged from the hospital,” the officer added.
