Jhajjar (Har), March 14: A minor girl was today charred to death while her parents and three-year-old sister suffered serious burn injuries when their house caught fire in Matanhale village here, police said.
Five-year-old Sanju alias Kajal died in the inferno while her parents, Rajbir and Munni Devi, and sister Rinki have been admitted to a hospital here and their condition is stated to be serious, they said.
The incident happened this morning when some villagers noticed smoke coming out of their house. On entering the house, they found all the four in a critical condition.
The injured were rushed to the civil hospital here from where they were referred to PGIMS, Rohtak.
However, Sanju succumbed to her injuries and condition of the rest is stated to be serious.
