Noida, August 16: A minor boy was allegedly kidnapped from near his house at sector 12 here, a senior police officer said today.
10-year old Ritik was playing near his house when he was kidnapped by some unidentified persons last evening.
The boy’s father Pappu Singh, a catering contractor, lodged a complaint with sector 24 Police Station alleging that one of his former employee was behind the crime.
Deputy Superintendent of Police V C Tripathi said police teams have been sent to trace the boy.
No ransom call was received till late in the evening, he said.
