Book release ceremony of Muqaddamat-e-Minju Qamar, a compilation by Dr. Syed Mumtaz Mehdi was held by Anjuman Taraqqi Urdu Andhra Pradesh on May 17, Urdu Hall Himayatnagar. Prof. Anwar Moazzam during his presidential address told that this is the second book of its kind after ‘Muqaddamat-e-Abdul Haq.
Muqaddamat-e-Minju Qamer has been compiled by Minju Qamar’s son Dr. Syed Mumtaz Mehdi.
Minju Qamar was not only a drama writer but at the same time he was a director, actor musician and poet.
Prof. Ashraf Rafi former HOD Urdu Osmania University, Dr. Moin Amar Bamboo, Mohammed Abdur Raheem Khan, and others addressed on the occasion. Padmashree Jeelani Banu released the book.
