On the third day of Swacch Hyderabad program which was evoking good response from people, the ministers along with local MLAs participated in the clean drive to be continued till May 20.
At Balanagar, Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav participated in the clean drive. He removed garbage at the locality and promised to address the issues of the people of basic amenities such as roads, drainage and drinking water, roads and electricity.
Speaking on the occasion, Yadav exhorted the people to cooperate with the government to make the city clean. Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy attended a similar program at Bagh Lingampally and lifted garbage there. Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy toiled in clean drive at Chennareddy Nagar at Amberpet. Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao took part in the clean drive at Sriram Nagar at Madhapur, while Transport Minister P. Mahendar Reddy participated in the program at Poosala basthi area in Quthullapur. Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy joined the clean drive at Boggula Kunta at King Kothi. Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy and MP Prabhakar Reddy took part in the drive at Gonamma Basthi in Patancheru.
The ministers actively participated in the clean drive by removing garbage and trash piled up at several places. The leaders interacted with the people and promised that their problems will be resolved very soon. (NSS)
