Ministers Make Diametrical Statements on T Bill.

Minor Irrigation Minister Tumbalam Guthi Venkatesh on Tuesday laid a foundation stone for a Farmers’ Training Center building in Visakhapatnam.
Speaking at the function, TG Venkatesh and his cabinet colleague Kondru Murali startled the gathering by making different statements on the bifurcation of the State. Venkatesh said the Telangana Draft Bill was full of mistakes and totally against development of the Seemandhra region. Claiming that there was no mention of any economic packages to the Seemandhra region in the draft Bill, Venkatesh said they could not argue against the Bill effectively as they were totally immersed in the Samaikyandhra agitation.
However, Health Minister Kondru Murali disputed the statement of Venkatesh and asserted that several issues were mentioned in the Bill for speedy development of the Seemandhra region in lieu of division of the State. He also exuded confidence that the Congress would get handsome results in the 2014 elections despite the vilification campaign. He also expressed displeasure over the media campaigning that there was nothing for Seemandhra in the Bill and the Congress would draw a blank in the ensuing general elections. (NSS)
