Ministers including Mahmood Ali, didn’t remain unaffected by heavy downpour

Hyderabad: Not only the common public but the VIP’s didn’t remain unaffected by the heavy downpour continued for days. Though scenes of water entering into houses in low-lying areas is common but this time the water also entered into the houses of several ministers at Ministers’ Quarters, Banjara Hills.

According to sources rain water entered into the official residence of Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali. It took 3 hours for government staff to stop water from entering into the house. No proper arrangement has been made to clear water from the roof of ministers’ houses; hence every year ministers face water leakage problem.

Water suddenly began entering into the house of Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali by way of stairs. The minister was present in the residence. He immediately called the municipal corporation staff to clear the water. Apart from this reports of water entering into the houses of several other ministers have also been received.
