Health & Medical Minister Dr C. Laxma Reddy today warned the hospitals of stern action in case they performed unnecessary operations.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, the minister directed all the hospitals to submit their monthly reports on the operations performed by them every month. He also revealed that the State government was planning to set up 500 labour rooms in hospitals across the State.
After distributing Tabs to ANMs on Tuesday here, the Minister directed the ANMs to update the details every day. He said the ANMs have to enroll the details of pregnant women and children’s health details. (NSS)
