Excise Minister Padma Rao Goud today consoled Veerendra Yadav, a Cancer patient at Basava Tarakam Cancer Hospital here. The patient from Secunderabad was admitted to the hospital for treatment. The minister handed over a cheque of Rs five lakh for treatment of the patient, to the hospital management. The cheque was given under Chief Minister Relief Fund and the minister asked the hospital management to offer better medical services to Veerendra and hoped a speedy recovery for him.(NSS)
