Minister thanks officials as Haj Camp concludes

With the departure of last flight consisting of 342 Haj pilgrims belonging to Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, the Haj Camp 2012 has concluded.

Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammad Ahmadullah on Saturday expressed satisfaction and happiness over the successful and smooth conduct of the Haj Camp. He said the camp proved to be a grand success as 7967pilgrims left from the Hyderabad Embarkation point in a smooth and satisfactory manner. He congratulated State Haj Committee chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed and other officials for making the camp an exemplary success.

Ahmedullah thanked all the government departments and organisations, particularly the GMR Airport Authority, Customs, Immigration, Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police, GHMC, Traffic Police, Owaisi Group of Hospitals, Princess Esra Hospital, APSRTC, HMWS&SB, Menzis, SBI, BSNL, DM&HO and all the volunteers and other organisations who worked day in and day out to serve the Haj pilgrims.

The minister said that the State Government was keen to provide all the facilities to the Haj pilgrims and in that direction every step was taken to ensure smooth departure of the pilgrims to the sacred destination. He said Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy took personal interest in the successful conduct of the Haj Camp and personally visit the Haj House to bid farewell to the first batch of the pilgrims on October 6.
