Telangana Minister for Endowments A Indrakan Reddy today visited this town and reviewed the arrangements being made for the Godavari Pushkarams and the pilgrim amenities, at the ITDI office here.
Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Legislators Jalagam Venkat Rao and T Venkateswarlu, district Collector Ilambarithi and officials participated in the review meet. Indrakaran Reddy directed the officials to complete all the works related to the Puishkarams by June 15. He wanted all the offocials concerned to work in coordination and see that the Pushkarams passed-off successfully. The Minister earlier visited the Pushkar ghats and inspected the works.
Indrakaran Redy said that Mothe pushkar ghat in Burgampahad mandal would be set apart specially for the naked sadhus who would be coming for the pushkarams.
The Minister had darshan of Lord Srirama and offered prayers at the Temple in the morning. Temple officials and priests welcomed the Minister. (NSS)
