Tripura: BJP leader and Tripura Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Mr. Manoj Kanti Deb reportedly touched the woman colleague ‘inappropriately’. This incident reportedly took place at the PM’s rally in Agartala last week.
However, after the video went viral on social media, the opposition demanded that Mr. Deb should be sacked.
According to the report published in Times Now, the minister was seen reportedly touching the woman. Both Mr. Deb and the woman were present on the stage with PM Modi when this alleged incident took place.

Reacting on the video, Mr. Tapas Dey, Vice President of Tripura Congress sought probe whereas other opposition leaders demanded legal action against the minister.
On the other hand, BJP blamed left parties that they have started character assassination of the BJP Ministers.
Giving clarification on the incident, both Mr. Deb and the woman denied the allegation. The woman said that Mr. Deb wanted her to move to the front.
