Chandigarh, February 15: The mother of a 12-year-old child alleged her son, who went missing three years ago and reached home this morning, was illegally confined in a Dera where he used work as a bonded labourer.
Anam went missing under mysterious circumstances when he and his mother were about to board a train from Panipat, their hometown, three years ago.
Talking to reporters in Panipat, Sajo, the mother of the boy, alleged her son was abducted by some persons and taken to a Dera in the city.
But, Anam escaped from the Dera in the wee hours, reached home and narrated his “tale of woes”, she said.
Sajo alleged Anam was made to clean floors, feed cows and buffaloes and wash utensils at the Dera practically every day.
