Hyderabad: Endowment Minister A Indrakaran Reddy today offered silk clothes to Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy at Vemulavada in Siricilla Rajanna district on the occasion of Mahashivaratri festival. He offered special prayers and received blessings.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said he was fortunate to present silk clothes to the god on behalf of the State government. The TRS government was making better arrangements for the festivals and sprucing up the temples to mark the occasion. He appealed to the people to celebrate the festival of Mahashivaratri in a peaceful manner by cooperating with the officials and police on security. He claimed that the government was spending huge funds for developing all the temples in the State.
