Minister lays foundation stone for power sub-stations

Telangana Energy Minister Jagadishwar Reddy laid the foundation stone for 33/11 KV power sub-station at Kamila village of Raghunathpally mandal in Station Ghanpur Assembly constituency of Warangal district on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the Telangana has made unprecedented progress in the energy sector within six months after the formation of new State. He said that the sub-station would resolve the low-voltage problem in seven villages. He also announced that nearly 3,000 vacancies in the energy department would be filed soon.

Later, he also laid foundation stone for 33/11 KV Sub-Station at Uppalguda in Zafargarh mandal.

MLAs T. Rajaiah, Rajeshwar Reddy and R. Ramesh, TSPDCL CMD K. Venkatarama and senior officials of energy department were also present on the occasion. (INN)
