Minister for Housing A Indrakaran Reddy has stated today that the Telangana Government will take necessary measures to provide two bedroom houses to all eligible poor families in the State.
The Minister held a meeting today with the seven MLAs in Nizamabad parliamentary constituency and reviewed the housing programme implementation and selection of beneficiaries. . He said that the Government will take a decision on the houses sanctioned under the Indiramma Housing programme, but the work was not commenced. If there were any eligible people under this category, they would be given two bedroom houses, he said.
Nizamabad M P K Kavitha wanted the Minister (who also holds the Endowments Ministry) to sanction funds for the old temples in the constituency. She said that funds be released to temples which have no income, to carry on Dhoopa, Deepa, Naivedyams. MLAs of seven Assembly segments and officials of Housing and Endowments departments attended the meeting. (NSS)
