Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Thursday assured the State Assembly of taking steps for the construction of a new building for Government Girls High School in Babunagr of Amberpet.
In his reply to a question raised by Amberpet MLA G Kishan Reddy (BJP) during Question Hour, the minister admitted that the allotment of 8,000 sq yards of land to Government Girls High School located at Bapunagar has been cancelled. He said that the Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, has redelivered the land back due to wrongly computation. The Revenue officials are taking initiatives to acquire the land for allotment to the school to take up construction of building.
“Soon after allocation of the land by the Revenue Department, the permanent RCC framed structure would be taken up as per norms,” he said. (INN)
