Health Minister C Laxma Reddy asserted in the Assembly that the State Government was determined and has been taking all measures to ensure that the best of medicare and other facilities available in corporate hospitals are also provided in government hospitals.
The minister disclosed this while replying to a question in the House during question hour on Tuesday. He informed that 40 dialysis centers were opened in the State and some more would be set up based on the need and number of patients. Even 20 ICU centers were opened in the hospitals. All these facilities were appreciated by the patients, he observed.
Laxma Reddy said it is the endeavor of the State government to provide the best medical facilities to the people and all steps are being taken in this direction like opening of needed CT Scan and Diagnostic centers. He felt there was need for educating patients about kidney problems. (NSS)
