Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday admitted that there has been delay in completion of civil works in respect of the project which is intended to supply water for irrigation purpose from Musi River through Peelaipally canal.
The irrigation water is to be supplied to eight village in Chotuppal mandal of Nalgonda district. The minister was replying to a question raised by MLA K Prabhakar Reddy during Question Hour in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly. He said that the works have been commenced in October this year and are expected to be completed by June, 2015. (INN)
