The Mini Cooper celebrates 50 years

London, August 25: For some small is better, and when it comes to Mini Cooper, small is smarter. The aura of this car can well be recognized by even a small child, leave alone its lovers. The Mini turns 50 year old or rather can be said 50 years stronger into the hearts of those who know the worth of the minuscule car.

All the Mini lovers gathered at Longbridge to celebrate its anniversary. The passion of possessing a Mini is worth watching here at Longbridge.

People from every part of the world popped in to prove their worship for the same love. All these find the Mini irresistible and showcase their Mini.

Around 5000 Mini(es) gathered with their owners and they set up their camp opposite the old factory that produced the first Minis in an industrial suburb of Birmingham.

When production stopped in 2000, Minis only became more collectable. A new version was released in 2001 following BMW’s takeover of Rover, but for many fans, “the big one”, as they call it here, simply cannot compete.

Some call it toy, some confer their odd stories behind the wheel while some are present there to view the panorama going exciting among the “Minimaniacs” as they say.
