Srinagar, August 05: At least 23 persons were injured when their mini-bus turned turtle after colliding with a car in Pulwama district of South Kashmir today, a police spokesman said here. The accident took place at Chursoo in Awantipora, 32 kms from here on Srinagar-Jammu National highway, the spokesman said.
The injured included the driver of the car, he said adding the injured were shifted to a hospital. In a separate incident, one person was injured when he lost control over his car at Kijipora near Kangan, 40 kms from here on Srinagar-Leh National highway, and fell into a stream.
The injured, Niyaz Ahmad Lone, was hospitalised, he said. In another accident, an SUV injured one Mushtaq Ahmad Mir near his house at Hyderbheigh near Pattan, 27 kms from here on Srinagar-Baramulla national highway.
