Mindtree Q4 net profit rises 40.09 percent

Bengaluru: Consulting and IT firm Mindtree on Monday said it posted a 40.09 percent rise in its standalone net profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2015, at Rs.177.5 crore against Rs.126.7 crore in the same period last year.

According to the audited standalone financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), total income grew from Rs.176.4 crore to Rs.232.7 crore in the quarter under review while total expenses rose to Rs.1,205.1 crore from Rs.903.6 crore in the year-ago period.

On a consolidated basis, Mindtree’s Q4 net profit shot up by 21.21 percent at Rs.156 crore from Rs.128.7 crore.

Annually, the company reported a standalone net profit of Rs.604.9 crore for the year ending March 31, 2016 from Rs.534.3 crore registered on March 31, 2015, or a rise of 13.2 percent.

Standalone annual total income shot up from Rs.3,612.8 crore to Rs.4,413.9 crore for the year ending March 31, 2016, while annual consolidated net profit rose by 12.49 percent at Rs.603.3 crore for the year ending March 31, 2016 from Rs.536.3 crore posted in the last fiscal.
