Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed at Moghalpura after MIM workers confronted Congress group. This incident took place on Friday when Congress candidate from Charminar, Mr. Mohammed Ghouse organized ‘padayatra’ in the area.
According to the report published in The Hans India, MIM workers who were carrying the party flag started raising slogans when the padayatra reached Moghalpura water tank.
As Congress party had taken prior permission for padayatra, police dispersed MIM workers.
It may be mentioned that earlier, during the election campaign, MIM Corporator, Husaini Pasha and others had disrupted the election meeting of the Congress candidate, Kaleem Baba in Bilal Nagar, Kalapathar. Chairs and furniture were broken.
