MIM snaps ties with Congress for personal gains: Kamalakar Rao

Congress spokesman and former MLC Kamalakar Rao has dubbed Majlis a communal party and said that Asaduddin has lost his mental balance. MIM handed over a letter to Andhra Pradesh Governor informing him about the withdrawal of its support to the Congress in order to gain cheap popularity.

Taking part in a debate on a Telugu Television channel Mr. Kamalakar Rao told that Congress is a secular party; minorities especially Muslims accept this but MIM is a communal party.

He claimed that Congress and MIM have never made political alliance but contested against each other in elections, sometimes they do had a consensus. He told that Majlis had approached the government for Mahavir hospital land but when the government didn’t show conformity, it withdrew support to blackmail the government.
