Hyderabad: The All India Majlis Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) wrote to Telangana chief electoral officer that the party had not issued any manifesto for the assembly elections.
On November 28, MIM MLC Syed Amin Jafri, in his letter to the CEO, said that the party hadn’t issued a manifesto in previous polls too.
The MIM leaders said, “Our slogan is ‘our work is our identity’ and the manifesto can be implemented once the party comes to power”.
However, the party issued an action plan for Hyderabad in the GHMC elections as it was the single largest party.
So far, 16 parties have submitted their manifesto to the CEO.
Congress has submitted a 116-page manifesto, BJP (44 pages) and TDP (34 pages) and TRS (19 pages). TDP is the only party that submitted its manifesto in Urdu.
Anarakshit Samaj Party, CPI, CPM, TJS, Telangana Labour party, Telangana Prajala Party, New India Party, Peoples Front, NCP, Jai Swaraj Party, Social Justice Party of India and Nava PrajaRajyam Party submitted their manifestos too.
