MIM corporator and his supporters in Chowni Nade-Ali-Baig attacked the supporters of Mr. Muzaffar Ali Khan, TDP incharge of Malakpet area. This incident took place at Goodi Bowli in Chowni Nade-Ali-Baig area day before yesterday night when the dead body of Master Arafat (13) was brought to city. He was drowned in Miryalguda of Nalgonda district while he was swimming.
Mr. Muzaffar Ali Khan, Mr. Feroz Khan and their supporters reached there to see the dead body. MIM corporator and his supporters attacked Mr. Muzaffar Ali Khan and his friends. In this incident Mr. Feroz Khan got seriously injured and he was shifted to Osmania General Hospital. It is said that the local supporters of MIM corporator had come with iron rods and hockey sticks in there hands. They attacked Feroz Khan objecting to his coming in Chowni Nade-Ali-Baig area after this incident panic prevailed in Chowni Nade-Ali-Baig and its near by areas.
Police made elaborate arrangement for the burial of the deceased. who was buried in Sultan Daira graveyard.
On contacting Mr. N. Ranga Rao, Inspector of Police, Rain Bazar, he told that a complaint has been received on behalf of Mr. Feroz Khan and he is conducting investigations in this case. Mr. Muzaffar Ali Khan told that the mischief made by MIM corporator is regrettable who is doing politics on the dead body.
