Congress floor leader in GHMC Mohammed Wajid Hussain on Tuesday claimed that the alliance between the Congress and MIM worked well in the GHMC for the last five years.
Speaking to media persons here, Wajid Hussain said that the MIM-Congress combine focused on the development of Hyderabad and worked as a team to make some accomplishments. He did not rule out alliance with the MIM in future, but said that the decision would be taken by the Congress High Command. He also said that the Congress faces no threat from the possible MIM-TRS in next GHMC elections.
Wajid Hussain also indicated at delay in conducting the GHMC elections. He said that the delimitation of GHMC wards is still on and the process for next elections would begin only after the completion of delimitation. (INN)
