Washington D.C., Sept 28 : In the hope of capturing the super moon lunar eclipse, millions of Americans stepped out to watch the rare phenomenon.
The phenomenon, which will not occur again until 2033, took place over a four-hour period and featured several stages, E! Online reports.
The darkened moon appeared red during the middle of the event.
People flooded social media with their reactions.
One Twitter user wrote, “Honored to witness such historic cosmic event #SuperBloodMoon.”
