Military jets kill 100 militants in N.W.Pakistan: Reports

At least 100 militants have reportedly been killed in North West Pakistan following a strafing by military jets on Sunday.

Media reports said eight militant hideouts in tribal dominant North Waziristan were targetted by the aircraft.

It was stated that the dead included Uzbeks and other fighters of foreign origin.

It is being reported that Abu Abdul Rehman al-Maani, the militant who orchestrated the Karachi Airport siege on June 8, was among those killed.

Sunday’s strikes was the second in a week. (ANI)
