A militant was killed in an encounter with police at Harouthel Kuki village in Manipur today,official sources said.
The militant was shot dead when a band of extremists fired at police commandos carrying out search operation in the
area this afternoon.
One 9mm pishtol with some ammunition and one hand grenade were recovered from the, sources said.
