Jammu, June 16: Two militant hideouts were today busted in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi and Poonch districts from where security forces recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition, including RDX.
On a tip off, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and state police raided a militant hideout at Koriwala forest in Mahore sector, about 160 kms from here, in Reasi district this afternoon, a police spokesperson said.
The militants managed to escape, however, the team recovered a huge cache of ammunition including two boxes of RDX, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing 3.5 kgs, one IED receiver, three detonators, 52 Pika rounds and 33 pistol rounds.
