Mumbai: Actress Juhi Chawla says that currently she is listening to numerous scripts, which might take time to make, but she would most likely feature on a television show soon.
“I’m still listening to scripts, and films take time to be made, so probably you’ll soon see me again on TV,” said Juhi while interacting with the media after inaugurating a spiritual fair here on Saturday.
Juhi has hosted and featured in numerous award shows and has even come on filmmaker Karan Johar’s “Koffee With Karan” with fellow actress Madhuri Dixit. But her most notable work on television was as a judge on the third season of the popular dance reality show, “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” where she was accompanied by choreographers Saroj Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant in that season.
Madhuri became a judge in the fourth season while Juhi no longer was a part of the show.
Juhi was last seen in “Chalk N Duster”, a film about the lives of teachers. “A few days ago we held a show for 500 teachers and some of them spoke to other teachers and now there’s going to be a show for another 500 teachers. So if you like something and make certain efforts for it, it moves forward. Films definitely takes matters ahead, and if films are made on good topics, it is a positive thing.
“Our films tremendously influence people. But at the same time, no one goes to the cinema to listen to lectures, so if you have an interesting story, and if you can showcase it as a film, and its messages are good, then it’s like an icing on the cake, it shall be a superhit. And if I get those kind of films, I’ll definitely want to work on it,” she added.
“Chalk N Duster” was released on January 15.
