The mid day meal scheme in Urdu medium school of Qila Adilabad has completely failed. The responsibility of supplying meals has been entrusted to a contractor who brings half cooked food from his house. Many students go home without taking lunch in the school.
Mr. Ahmed Faheemuddin, Headmaster told the staff reporter of Siasat that since the contractor cooks food at his residence, he doesn’t know the exact number of students present in the school. Due to this, some times food remains unconsumed and many a time it falls short. A tin shed is also provided for cooking but he doesn’t cook food in the school.
The students have requested the DEO Mr. Akramullah Khan to instruct the contractor to cook food in the school.
