New Delhi : In a bid to push its latest Windows 10 operating system to enterprise users, the software giant Microsoft is all set to stop supporting older Windows versions on new processors.
The announcement via a report on Engadget notes that the users would now not be able to run Windows 8 or older versions on new processors from AMD, Intel and Qualcomm.
The processors will require the current version of Windows to get enterprise support. Microsoft has further listed out Skylake-based processors that it will support with Windows 7 and 8.1.
However, even that program will last until July 17, 2017. (ANI)
