Microsoft Corp has filed a motion in a U.S. court to enforce the ban on importing some phones made by a Google Inc subsidiary.
Earlier, Microsoft had won a ban last year on Google phones claiming patent infringement.
The Fox News reports that Microsoft asked the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection to enforce the measure.
According to the report, all phones with Google”s Android software are affected by the ban.
The U.S. International Trade Commission said that Google”s Motorola Mobility infringed a Microsoft patent for generating and synchronizing calendar items.
It barred any infringing Motorola Mobility device from being imported into the United States. (ANI)
