Muskegon: A woman from Muskegon have warned people of a possible national blackout that is scheduled to take place from 4 November to 6 November.
The woman and her sister posted a video on Facebook to warn the people of the blackout that will be enacted by Defence Department.
Requesting the viewers to prepare for the blackout, she said an electromagnetic pulse drill will occur today.
She said, “There will be a very huge blackout”.
She indicated that this blackout drill coincides with the planned Antifa protests across the country.
However, the claims are false.
According to the sources, Defence Department will conduct a “communications interoperability” training drill from 4 – 6 November.
The drill simulates power and communication outages across the grid.
Defence Department have been conducting this exercise since 2013.
A source said that the average citizens will “not even know” about the exercise conducted.
