Micheletti: No deal yet on restoring Zelaya

Venenzuela, October 15: Honduras’ de facto leader Roberto Micheletti says no deal has been reached yet on restoring to office the ousted president Manuel Zelaya.

A Zelaya representative had said earlier that negotiators had reached an agreement on a plan for restoring Zelaya’s presidency, but it still needed to be approved by the ousted president and Micheletti.

“They’re (the negotiators) asking for Congress to decide if he (Zelaya) can return or not, but this is a legal matter, it’s definitely the Supreme Court of Justice which has to decide,” Micheletti said.

The de facto government said in a statement that dialogue would continue on Thursday.
