Minority Welfare Department is gearing up to derive benefit from information technology resources. The work on preparation of a modern website of minority welfare is going on in full swing and the website is likely to be ready within 15 days.
Principal secretary Minority Welfare I Rani Kumudini revealed that Tata Consultancy AP online has been assigned the work of preparing Minority Welfare department website. Although the Minority Welfare department was established 19 years ago, during Vijay Bhasker Reddy government but there was no website for the department. Even though the Andhra Pradesh has made fast progress in the field of information technology but the Minority Welfare Department was lagging far behind other departments in this sphere.
