Minority Welfare Department has sought clarification from Election Commission in connection with the implementation of some current schemes. District collectors of Hyderabad and Nellore objected over implementation of bank-linked loan scheme of Minority Finance Corporation and avoided to settle the applications due to enforcement of model code of conduct.
It is said that Minority Welfare Department has decided to seek clarification from Election Commission on implementation of all the ongoing schemes so that district collectors are apprised of the permission given by the commission in connection with the implementation of the schemes. Although the scheme is included in the plan of current financial year however the government has increased the subsidy amount with some amendments.
Applications were invited for the scheme from minority candidates from across the state and the applications await sanction of district collectors.
