Following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into two new states Minority Welfare Department faces lack of officials. Paucity of officials has become the major hurdle for both the governments in recruitment of chiefs of minority institutions besides secretary, minority welfare commissioner, deputy and assistant secretaries.
Posts of Commissioner minority welfare, Special officer Waqf board are also vacant in Minority Welfare Department.
