As part of implementing Training and Employment Scheme, the Minority Finance Corporation has started efforts to provide training to minority students in various institutions. Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation Mohammed Hashim Shareef told that proposals have been invited in this connection from SETWIN and MEDWIN hospital and no agreement has been made with any institutions so far. He informed that corporation will first review the note based on the list of schemes run by the two institutions after which such courses will be selected in which minority youth can easily get jobs and their economical backwardness is eliminated.
It must be noted that government has earmarked Rs. 12 crore for this scheme for the current financial year however the corporation has spent only 7 lakh 35 thousand rupees so far.
