The high official committee formed by the government in connection with the investigations into Minority Finance Commission scam awaits the report from the team of officials of Finance department. The team comprising of officials of finance department is likely to submit its report till February 15 after which the investigative committee after reviewing the report of auditors and finance team will prepare its final report which will identify accused of the scam and will recommend action against them.
It must be recalled that the Minority Finance Corporation scam came to the fore in October 2012 after which the government had directed CBCID probe into the matter.
