Metro Rail Project starts from Nagole M.D. talks to Governor

Hyderabad, November 17: Managing Director to Metro Rail, project N.V.S. Reddy called on the Governor of A.P. Mr. E.S.L. Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan yesterday and apprised him of the details of the project. He said that the 71 km project costs Rs. 14,132 crore.

It will connect all the major railway stations of the city including Hyderabad, Secuderabad, Kachiguda & Begumpet. Governor advised Mr. Reddy to connect it to the major bus stations so that the passengers could be benefited and the dependence on private transport system could be minimized. Mr. Reddy assured him that maximum facilities would be provided to the passengers.

Footpaths and pavements would be constructed for pedestrians. Greenfields woule be promoted near the Metrol Rail Stations. Governor asked him to connect it to Charminar & Salarjung Museum.
