Hyderabad: After starting two more Metro Rail lines in the city, the traffic problem in Hyderabad will be resolved to some extent.
MD of Hyderabad Metro Rail, Mr. NVS Reddy told that metro rail has completed one month.
In the first phase, a distance of 30 km was covered. Nearly, one lakh commuters are travelling every day. In this way, more than 32 lakh commuters utilized this service during one month.
Mr. Reddy further informed that CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR will take a decision soon for starting metro rail in Old City.
After the decision, work for Metro Rail will be completed by the end of Nov. 2018. He also informed that the frequency of the present metro rail will continue till the end of March 2018. After it, the schedule will be revised taking into consideration the number of commuters.
