New Delhi: With surging waters of the Ganga threatening to flood several riverine areas, state weather office on Saturday predicted rain or thunder in several prominent cities of Bihar.
Temperature remained moderate in major parts of the state.
Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 34.6 degrees Celsius, Met office bulletin said.
Maximum temperature was 34.6 degrees C in temple town of Gaya, 36.4 degress C in Bhagalpur and 36.2 degrees C in Purnea, it added.
However, humidity remained high.
Humidity was 81 per cent in Patna while it was 69 per cent in Gaya, 81 per cent in Bhagalpur and 77 per cent in Purnea, it said.
The state weather office forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea in the next 24 hours.
More rains is likely to aggravate the flood like situation in areas situated on bank of the Ganga.
