New Delhi: Rains lashed parts of Rajasthan on Monday with the weatherman predicting more rainfall in eastern parts of the state on Tuesday.
Bari-Sadri in Chittorgarh recorded maximum rainfall of 10 cm followed by Dug in Jhalawar and Mavli in Udaipur where nine and eight cm rains occurred respectively.
Nimbahera (Chittorgarh) and Ajmer recorded eight cm while several other places also registered below seven cm rains.
In Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer divisions, heavy rainfall occurred, according to the state Met department.
Ajmer also recorded 1.4 mm rains. Met department has predicted heavy rainfall at isolated areas in eastern parts of the state on Tuesday.
