Merger imminent, but not now !

Hyderabad, May 31: (Siasat News) Congress president Sonia Gandhi sought the support of the Praja Rajyam President Chiranjeevi for the ensuring Rajya Sabha elections.

Mr. Chiranjeevi assured her that within two days his party would take a decision and the congress would be and kept informet Mr. Chiranjeevi and hisparty leader visited delhi on the invitation of the congress high command.

The meeting between Sonia Gandhi and Chiranjeevi took place on Sunday. Sonia’s Political advisor Mr. Ahmed Patel, union minister for law Mr. Veerappa Moily and Praja Rajyam Leader C. Ramchanderiah were also attended the meeting later addressing the media persons Mr. Chiranjeevi said, that Mr. Gandhi wished him to support her party candidiates in the forth coming elections Mr. Chiranjeevi said, he repeated his demand of pollavaram and pranheeta chivadla projects to be given a national status, there upon Mrs. Sonia Gandhi advised him to see Mr. Manmoham Singh and to submit a memorandum to him.

As of now question of P.R.P. being merged with the congress he ruled out this possibility, the possibility of political tie-up and the understanding in the future might be considered, he told the Media persons. He will call on the prime minister Manmohan Singh in the first week of June.
